==> Be rather bewildered at the odd appearance of your Moirail.
“… … … Nepeta? You look… highly unusual.”
You blink at the alternate of your morail.
“Oh! You mean your Nepeta? We’re two different Nepetas!”
Your feathers lift slightly, showing your worry. You shift your weight from foot-to-foot.
“Two… different Nepetas…? I’m afraid I don’t quite follow.”
This is rather out of your comfort zone.
You look at the feathers with curiosity, before you let out a giggle.
“It’s timeline stuff Equius! I don’t think you played the game by the look of it but….”
You tap your chin in thought, this was going to be harder to explain than you thought….
You frown deeply, getting more and more confused by the moment. This is definitely, somehow, a version of your Nepeta- even if she barely resembles anything close to the type of Troll you’re used to. What’s worse is that, despite speaking Alternian, she isn’t really talking about anything you can comprehend.
“A game? What game? If you were Nepeta, you would know that I am not the type with time to waste on games.”

“Oh 2orry, ii wa2 under the iimpre22iion that you hiighblood2 were better then u2. ii would have thought iif that were true, you would at lea2t have the decency to re2pect boundariie2. ii mu2t have been wrong iin my a22umptiion.”
He keeps his head held high, not showing the least bit of submissiveness, His red and blue eyes flashing furiously.
He narrows his eyes, impressed by this daring display- but somewhat furious this bravery has come from a mere Yellowblood. He notes the bright flash from the other’s eyes, and a slight wariness flares up inside of him- he cannot recall ever seeing another Troll’s eyes light up like that. It seems… unnatural.
“Us Highbloods are better than you,” he smirks back, tail swishing slightly. “Forgive me if I’m wrong… but was it not you who reacted with such fierceness the moment you laid eyes on me? Can a noble Troll not patrol the local area- ensure that all is in order- without being accosted by a lowblood who would rather bare his teeth than pay respect?”
“Why would ii pay re2pect to 2omeone who tre2pa22e2? La2t tiime ii checked, iit wa2n’t the blue blood2 who en2ured order, but the teal blood2. And ii only 2how my re2pect to tho2e who de2erve iit.”
Sollux mentally smacks himself for letting his psionics slip and pulls them back. The next time he blinks, the flashing is gone, though he’s still glaring in an open challenge.
Equius rolls his eyes, tiring quickly of this Yellowblood insisting that he is somehow in the wrong- does being a Highblood mean nothing to these… animals? With a frown, he notices that the flashing has stopped, but he knows what he saw- even if he can’t comprehend exactly what it is he did see.
“Look, Pissblood,” he snarls softly, his natural anger getting the better of him. “I have done nothing to harm your territory or your people. You started the challenge against me- I was just passing through here. You wish to be treated with more respect by those of my colour? Start acting with the intelligence you insist you have,” he spits, teeth flashing. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll return to civilized company- or would you rather, if you’re so insistent on leaving order to the Tealbloods, like it if I queried them about those eyes of yours?”

His fangs bare in return and he raises his wings to make him look bigger. Every feather on his body is raised and dark yellow, his tails lash back and forth. When he speaks, it’s with more then a hint of snarl.
“What are you doiing here?”
He snorts sharply as the other resorts to puffing himself up with his wings- while the display is impressive, Equius is not intimidated. His ears flick back against his head, the feathers around his wrists and ankles flexing slightly as he clenches his hands and curls his sharp claws against the ground. His answering tone is derisive and patronizing.
“Whatever I darn well please,” he retorts. “You think I care for your boundaries, mustardblood?”
“Oh 2orry, ii wa2 under the iimpre22iion that you hiighblood2 were better then u2. ii would have thought iif that were true, you would at lea2t have the decency to re2pect boundariie2. ii mu2t have been wrong iin my a22umptiion.”

You hear the growl, and you lift your head slightly, eyes narrowing. You notice that it is only a Redblood, but the size and appearance of said Troll suggests that she is of high rank amongst her pack. You nod curtly, keeping your distance. You may despise the lowerbloods, but you are not so stupid as to challenge one without cause.
Well, this is new, and you can’t say it’s not appreciated in a fleeting thought. Your feathers lay flat once again as you trail behind, curious despite your inhibitions as you call out as quietly as you can manage.
“…What brings you here?”
Noticing how calmly the other is acting, you decide to maintain this charade of politeness, and your feathers also remain flat against your body. You have to listen hard to catch the quietly-spoken words of the other, and you have to hide your smile at the slight hesitation. You know that you will not be attacked, unless you do something stupid.
“I am just passing by. I was unaware that this was a part of your territory, Redblood.”
You give a low growl of acknowledgement, waiting, waiting. Had he come to challenge? Something tells you no, but you tense anyway.
